We encourage all of our employees to get involved and give back to their local community by granting a day’s paid leave per year for volunteer work.
Fundraising at Hanson Wade Group
Each year, our employees select a charity partner. In recent years, we have supported MIND, MS Society, Alzheimer’s Research UK and Young Lives vs Cancer. In 2025, our charity partner was Shelter, and in 2026 we are proud to partner with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Throughout the year, we run a range of fundraising events, including sponsored skydives, runs, bake sales and quizzes.
Emily Whitehead Foundation
Every year to coincide with our annual CAR-TCR Summit, we organize a charity run for employees and customers to raise money for the Emily Whitehead Foundation to fund further life-saving and innovative childhood cancer treatments that are more targeted and less toxic, such as CAR-T cell therapy.
