We encourage all of our employees to get involved and give back to their local community by granting a day’s paid leave per year for volunteer work.
Fundraising at Hanson Wade Group
Each year, our employees select a charity partner. In recent years, we have supported MIND, MS Society and Alzheimer’s Research UK. In 2024, our charity partner is Young Lives vs Cancer. Beyond health-related causes, we are also proud supporters of Bookmark Reading. Several Hanson Wade Group volunteers provide 121 support to improve primary school-aged children’s reading skills. We run several fundraising events during the year including sponsored skydiving, runs, bake sales, and quizzes.
Emily Whitehead Foundation
Every year to coincide with our annual CAR-TCR Summit, we organize a charity run for employees and customers to raise money for the Emily Whitehead Foundation to fund further life-saving and innovative childhood cancer treatments that are more targeted and less toxic, such as CAR-T cell therapy.
