A Statement From the CEO
(For the financial year ending 31 December 2025)
This statement is made on behalf of Hanson Wade Ltd in accordance with Section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our organisation and supply chain.
1. OUR BUSINESS STRUCTURE
Hanson Wade Group is a business intelligence organisation delivering specialist events, data products and research services across the Life Sciences and Construction sectors. Our operations are primarily UK‑based, supported by a global network of customers and partners.
2. OUR COMMITMENT
We maintain a zero‑tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. Our commitment is built on ethical conduct, transparency, and proportionate controls appropriate to our low‑risk operations.
3. OUR SUPPLY CHAIN
Our supply chain includes venues, technology suppliers, professional service partners, and marketing and data service providers. These are generally low‑risk categories, and we maintain strong ongoing relationships.
4. POLICIES AND GOVERNANCE
We maintain policies that support our commitment, including: Code of Ethics, Speak Up (Whistleblowing) Policy, Anti‑Bribery and Corruption Policy, Supplier Code of Conduct, and robust recruitment practices.
5. RISK ASSESSMENT AND DUE DILIGENCE
Given the nature of our business, our exposure to modern slavery risk is low. We have not conducted a formal risk assessment, and we consider this proportionate at this time.
6. TRAINING AND AWARENESS
We have not introduced formal employee training. Informal awareness through our policies and management communication is presently considered appropriate. We will keep this under review.
7. REPORTING CONCERNS
We encourage all employees, suppliers, and partners to report any concerns related to unethical practices, including modern slavery, through our Speak Up channels. No individual will suffer detriment for raising a concern in good faith.
8. FUTURE ACTIONS
We strive to continually improve our policies, standards and processes that mitigate against the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking.
9. BOARD APPROVAL
This statement has been approved by Hanson Wade Limited’s Board of Directors on 12 March 2026.
